El Tejar y San Andrés Itzapa plantan más arboles - Ministerio de Ambiente y Recursos Naturales

El plan anual de reforestación del Ministerio de Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (MARN) permite recuperar áreas degradadas o desprovistas de bosque en todo el país.

En El Tejar, Chimaltenango, se llevó a cabo una jornada de reforestación con apoyo del Ministerio de Agricultura, Instituto Nacional de Bosques, Consejo Nacional de la Juventud, Policía Municipal de Tránsito y estudiantes de la Escuela Oficial Rural Mixta Cantón Tzanjuyú.

Por otra parte, la delegación del MARN plantó 300 árboles en coordinación con la Unidad de Gestación Ambiental Municipal de San Andrés Itzapa y el Colegio Privado Mixto San Andrés.

Participaron 200 alumnos, maestros y padres de familia, quienes plantaron los árboles de las especies ciprés y pino.
