Niños de San Jerónimo, Baja Verapaz, celebran el Día del Medio Ambiente - Ministerio de Ambiente y Recursos Naturales

Estudiantes de la Escuela Oficial Rural Mixta de Aldea La Rinconada, San Jerónimo, Baja Verapaz, celebraron el Día del Medio Ambiente.

La delegación del Ministerio de Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (MARN) impartió un taller a los estudiantes sobre la importancia de cuidar el medio ambiente. La actividad fue en conjunto con representantes de Ministerio de Salud Pública y la Municipalidad de San Jerónimo.

Los niños recibieron 125 árboles frutales que plantaron con el apoyo de maestros y padres de familia.

“Promover la participación de la población en acciones de mejoramiento del medio ambiente es un objetivo del MARN”, expresó Rosibel Méndez, promotora de participación social.
